Virginia Rose, a paraplegic of 47 years and founder of Birdability, has learned something: being outside in Nature birding challenged her, empowered her, and provided the greatest happiness of her life. She says, "My best self was waiting there all along!"Her mission: help others with mobility challenges experience it for themselves!

Virginia discusses how Birdability began, the steps she is taking to develop it, and the steps Audubon chapters, and others, can take to make birding accessible for everybody. Her motto: You won't know until you go!
