Sponsors
We are so grateful to the following organizations for their vital support in helping us ensure birding is for everybody and every body. If you’d like to sponsor Birdability, please visit our Sponsorship Levels page and contact us — we’d love to hear from you!
Travis Audubon — Founding Sponsor
Travis Audubon, based in Austin, Texas, was the fiscal sponsor of Birdability until we fledged into our own 501(c)3. Without their support we wouldn’t be here today. Travis Audubon supported Birdability founder Virginia Rose and her early Birdability efforts to hold accessible bird outings and bring awareness to the birding community, and continue to support us in crucial ways. Thank you to the staff and Board of Travis Audubon!
National Audubon
The National Audubon Society GIS team built and continue to support the Birdability Map, and many staff members supported Birdability Week in 2020 and 2021. We are so grateful for their ongoing support, and especially to Liz Todd for her help setting up the Birdability Map, Ryan Hobbs and Abigail Krupp for their ongoing support with the Birdability Map and to Alex Tomlinson for creating the Birdability logo.

Better With Birds is your go-to spot for birding tips and unapologetic bird nerdery. Whether you're stalking warblers, judging pigeons, or just here for the backyard bird drama, we've got you covered. Plus, our shop is packed with snazzy merch, and we give 20% to conservation and inclusive birding efforts—so you can look good while doing good.
Julio Llanos and Andrea Salas of Cabeza de Chorlito Patagonico volunteered to translate the Birdability Guidance Documents into Spanish for us, so that more people could access this important information and birding could be more inclusive and accessible to everybody. Julio is a bird guide in Chile and Argentina, and creates great YouTube videos about birds and birding. You can follow him on Instagram @cabezadechorlitopatagonico
