Virginia Rose in Travis Audubon's Birdathon

Birdability Founder Virginia Rose will be participating in this year’s Travis Audubon Birdathon, to raise money to support its work.

This Birdathon, three years ago, was the first thing Virginia named “Birdability.” National Audubon Society heard about it and sent a videographer, and this article with accompanying photos and video launched Virginia and the word “Birdability” onto a national stage. Three years later, and this small idea has grown into a non-profit organization!

Virginia says:

“Once again, I am birding on my own from dawn to dusk, in five or six or seven different accessible Austin-area parks, with the hopes of finding 70 bird species. I plan on visiting Champions Park, Mills Pond, Berry Springs, Riata Pond, Lake Creek Trail, Judith's Lake, LBJ Wildflower Center, Richard Moya, Northwest Park, Hornsby, Zilker Botanical Gardens, Windermere Park, Tanglewood Park, and/or others!

Please help me support Travis Audubon in this effort by donating any amount, and thank you, all of you, for your continued generous support! You can make a donation to my fundraising page here.”

Please note: Any donations will go towards Travis Audubon, and not Birdability. If you would like to make a donation to support Birdability’s work, please do that at this site here.
