Birdability Captain Information Session

Dive into the world of accessibility advocacy with us on May 23, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. ET!

Are you passionate about making birding more inclusive in your community?

Join our upcoming Info Session to learn about becoming a Birdability Captain - a role that's all about championing accessibility and inclusion in the wonderful world of birding!

Our international network of Birdability Captains are dedicated volunteers working to improve accessibility and inclusion in their local birding communities. Whether it's completing Birdability Site Reviews or organizing accessible birding outings, these Captains are making a real difference.

At this session, you'll hear from a panel of current Birdability Captains, sharing insights and experiences from their volunteer work. Learn what it takes to be a part of this incredible network and how you can make a meaningful impact in your area.

We're investing in the growth of our volunteer community and creating opportunities for learning and collaboration. Whether you have an hour a month or more to spare, there's a place for you in our inclusive network.

What's expected of Birdability Captains? We operate on an "opt-in" model, but there are minimum expectations for engagement. From attending meetings to organizing local events and participating in ongoing education, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Save the date - May 23, 2024, and join us on this journey towards a more welcoming, inclusive, and accessible world of birding!
